A well-hit corner resulted in Raja Vaal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Henri Thomasse might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Robledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Robledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olando Abancens was the one to do the kick off. If Raja Vaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO made a substitution.
