In the 18th minute, Virgílio Bezerra had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Jonatan Asteri charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonatan Asteri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Obscurials's Cliff Rowden was substituted for Virgílio Bezerra. Jonatan Asteri kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Battal Cüneyt Türe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Safet Hands was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cliff Rowden during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Cliff Rowden. A hard shot 28 in the game by Jonatan Asteri from a close distance when the talented Safet Hands managed to make a qualified save. The Obscurials's players were relieved. 31 minutes into the match, The Obscurials's goalkeeper Safet Hands had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elói da Fonseca. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goalkeeper Gino Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute Adriano Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elano de Sousa in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, The Obscurials's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Marques came free, but Safet Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gino Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anders Westerstrand to make the kick off. Elói da Fonseca took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Safet Hands. Safet Hands dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Safet Hands stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elói da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Adriano Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Gino Valle made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Adriano Ribeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gino Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Nelson Wright received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gino Valle came out and tried to block the shot, but Nelson Wright slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 66th minute. Adriano Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Gino Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Obscurials. Gino Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goalkeeper Gino Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
