After recieving a nice pass, Boomer Fc's Xuaco Erosa tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Landolfo Andres in the 24th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Eutichios Bletsas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Boomer Fc booed when RO Army V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. The RO Army V55 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eutichios Bletsas should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markos Kokotoulis to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Primo Aguilar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eutichios Bletsas. RO Army V55's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primo Aguilar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the RO Army V55 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boomer Fc.
