Charis Nebegleras charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charis Nebegleras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Akis Siokos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Tsirimonakis in the 8th minute of the match. When Stefanos Periou fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toutourouki f.c.'s protests and gave Stefanos Periou a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Toutourouki f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Stefanos Periou. After 17 minutes of play, Pagos FC's Loukas Kavalekas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgos Kazatzidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the game, Pagos FC's Loukas Kavalekas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giorgos Kazatzidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Micheloudakis in the 24th minute of play forced Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Giorgos Kazatzidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Themis Apostolakoglou took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giorgos Kazatzidis. Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Akis Siokos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vrasidas Liouras in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes, Loukas Kavalekas made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Toutourouki f.c.'s Giorgos Kazatzidis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Giorgos Kazatzidis came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pagos FC's Loukas Kavalekas. But to his dismay, Loukas Kavalekas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 37 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Loukas Kavalekas came free, but Giorgos Kazatzidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toutourouki f.c.'s Giorgos Kazatzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukas Kavalekas in the 40th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Charis Nebegleras came free, but Giorgos Kazatzidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loukas Kavalekas made a kick off. In the 51st minute Vrasidas Liouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Siokos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loukas Kavalekas got free with Giorgos Kazatzidis in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grigoris Poursanidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giorgos Kazatzidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grigoris Poursanidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Giorgos Kazatzidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Poursanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Charis Nebegleras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Kazatzidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Giorgos Kazatzidis managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Pagos FC's Loukas Kavalekas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 66 minutes, Christos Taktikos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toutourouki f.c. and the Pagos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pagos FC booed when Toutourouki f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Taktikos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giorgos Kazatzidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukas Kavalekas in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Toutourouki f.c.'s Giorgos Kazatzidis got control of the ball when Loukas Kavalekas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute Loukas Kavalekas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Kazatzidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match Themis Apostolakoglou sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giorgos Kazatzidis skillfully saved the ball. Akis Siokos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Tsirimonakis in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Stefanos Periou made a precise shot to the right of Akis Siokos. Pagos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Pagos FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
