In the 3rd minute, Teodosio Estévez made a precise shot to the right of Markus Albäck. Nye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Markus Albäck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Blanchetau's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Markus Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Estévez, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Romualdo Hetz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Markus Albäck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Markus Albäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Lucian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kim Björklund charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kim Björklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nye getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Kim Björklund hit a great ball. Markus Albäck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gary Medel went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Markus Albäck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pere Jordi Polloni went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute Romualdo Hetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Estévez took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After some careless play in the Nye defense, Teodosio Estévez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Albäck. The Nye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Albäck should have stopped the shot. Markus Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Raffo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Romualdo Hetz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.D. Pepino’s fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Aurelio Raffo scored 0-8 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Albäck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romualdo Hetz in the 40th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romualdo Hetz in the 42nd minute of the match. Raúlo Varletta scored 0-9 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Albäck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Markus Albäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Raffo in the 47th minute of play. After the first half C.D. Pepino’s were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Pere Jordi Polloni got free with Markus Albäck in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nye's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aurelio Raffo 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10. Markus Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Estévez in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Pere Jordi Polloni notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Nye's Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Teodosio Estévez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 62 minutes into the match, Pere Jordi Polloni dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Markus Albäck, 0-12. In the 67th minute, Pere Jordi Polloni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Albäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. C.D. Pepino’s's Anselmo Celada was substituted for Romualdo Hetz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Estévez in the 72nd minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Albäck was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Aurelio Raffo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aurelio Raffo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-15. C.D. Pepino’s's Ariano Adelsdorfer was substituted for Aurelio Raffo. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Celada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markus Albäck was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Kim Björklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Osvaldo Weisser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Anselmo Celada made a precise shot to the right of Markus Albäck. Nye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-16. In the 89th minute Osvaldo Weisser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepino’s's Anselmo Celada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-17. The Nye fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.D. Pepino’s were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
