Paulo José Vianna was slow to take the kick. During this time Premier FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Vítor Amaral managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Eugeniusz Sochacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Queirós in the 24th minute of play. After 65 played minutes, INTER Sosnowiec's Waclaw Komanski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernani Xavier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INTER Sosnowiec reached it. INTER Sosnowiec's Eugeniusz Sochacki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save INTER Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. If Dadá da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Eugeniusz Sochacki throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cauan Barros in the 82ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ernani Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Marciewicz in the 89th minute of play. Iwan Marciewicz scored 2-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernani Xavier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oswaldo Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
