After having played for 16 minutes, André Balada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mundial EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Balada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Nils Bengtsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mundial EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Nesto Inguanzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Bengtsson's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Raphael Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tono Andonegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Nils Bengtsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nesto Inguanzo. In the 35th minute Amílton Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nesto Inguanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Haroldo Ucieda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raphael Penha. That made the score 1-4 in the 38 minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, FITO APPLE TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Munhoz came free, but Nesto Inguanzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nesto Inguanzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

After 74 minutes of play, Mundial EC's Delfim Varela made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nesto Inguanzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the match, FITO APPLE TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Senna came free, but Nesto Inguanzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
