If Orvar Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute of the match Hermanö Oilers got a corner. Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sonny Brandt ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gustav Högström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Adelino Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Samuel Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joinville City - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hermanö Oilers the free kick. Gunnar Linberg's late challenge caught a Joinville City - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunnar Linberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Linberg. After 46 minutes, Al Capone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hermanö Oilers and the Joinville City - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Al Capone got a free kick in the 46th minute. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Clemente Mineiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hermanö Oilers.

Sonny Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gianluigi Joinvilense made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Orvar Stenquist sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Paulo Siqueira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hermanö Oilers's Sonny Åkesson. Sonny Åkesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Melker Kjellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Paulo Siqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The audience was convinced that Paulo Siqueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sonny Åkesson was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Siqueira came free, but Sonny Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Caetano de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Clemente Mineiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sonny Åkesson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hermanö Oilers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
