After 11 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Arvid Östensson. 12 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Jano Alcântara came free, but Edgar Samuelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinho de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Nilsson in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Carlos Eduardo Sanches ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Samuelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th minute, Torbjörn Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo Sanches took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Samuelsson. Edgar Samuelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dino Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Samuelsson having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Dário de Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Venécia-ES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After having played for 44 minutes, Dário de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Venécia-ES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dário de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torbjörn Nilsson was the one to do the kick off. Robinho de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Edgar Samuelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dário de Salles went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Edgar Samuelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Eduardo Sanches. In the 57th minute Christopher Sandwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Arne Gunnarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Preator Edikt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Venécia-ES the free kick. After 57 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Arne Gunnarsson. In the 60th minute, Arne Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mário Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Samuelsson having to make a save. Edgar Samuelsson came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Venécia-ES's Dino Tavares. But to his dismay, Dino Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 66 minutes into the game, Dário de Salles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgar Samuelsson. Dário de Salles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dino Tavares got free with Edgar Samuelsson in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Arne Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Dino Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Samuelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário de Salles in the 78th minute of the match. Arvid Östensson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christopher Sandwall during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgar Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Edgar Samuelsson made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Dino Tavares sent off a good shot on target. Arne Gunnarsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Nova Venécia-ES booed when Preator Edikt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nova Venécia-ES's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
