A collision led to Nova Era getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Pedro Coutinho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Sedzikowski in the 20th minute of play forced Nova Era's goalkeeper Alfredo Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Łukasz Surma took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alfredo Macedo to make any attempt to save it. In the 31st minute, Łukasz Surma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Coutinho during the 32nd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egídio Vaz to strike the kick off in the second half. Łukasz Surma scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Kiewra in the 57th minute of the match. Egídio Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ludomil Niedbalski made a huge save. Alfredo Macedo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Irons Chorzów's Radomil Sedzikowski. But to his dismay, Radomil Sedzikowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 76th minute Łukasz Surma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Gwidon Popowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Macedo. Nova Era's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gwidon Popowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 82 minutes, Yan Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nova Era and the The Irons Chorzów players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Nova Era got a freekick which was hit by Yan Gaspar. Nova Era's Alfredo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Sedzikowski in the 91st minute of play. Alfredo Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Kiewra, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Nova Era's Gildo Viana got a free kick in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that The Irons Chorzów were the better team. The Irons Chorzów's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
