Anselmo De Gregorio took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Daleng. Daniel Daleng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Atletico San Jacopino's Franco Di Biagio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Daleng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alessandro Federici hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Daniel Daleng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franco Di Biagio went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Hans Furulund kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Nik Tjæder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico San Jacopino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Lusi in the 39th minute of play forced Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Daniel Daleng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Federici struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Daniel Daleng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico San Jacopino. 42 minutes into the match, Atletico San Jacopino's Anselmo De Gregorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Daleng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Daleng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Federici went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thor Gaarder to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Kent Eggum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjønstad BF's Daniel Daleng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nik Tjæder in the 51st minute of play. Alessandro Federici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alessandro Federici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjønstad BF's Daniel Daleng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nik Tjæder in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Furulund during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Hans Furulund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico San Jacopino's Eraldo Cicchinelli was substituted for Franco Di Biagio. Hans Furulund hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Eraldo Cicchinelli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Daniel Daleng skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Atletico San Jacopino's Anselmo De Gregorio got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Eraldo Cicchinelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kjønstad BF's Daniel Daleng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Kjønstad BF defense, Eraldo Cicchinelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Daleng. The Kjønstad BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Daleng should have stopped the shot. After 77 minutes, Thomas Skadberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kjønstad BF and the Atletico San Jacopino players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thomas Skadberg kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A hard shot 79 in the game by Eraldo Cicchinelli from a close distance when the talented Daniel Daleng managed to make a qualified save. Kjønstad BF's players were relieved. Kjønstad BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Eraldo Cicchinelli scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Daleng, making the score, 0-9. Kjønstad BF's Daniel Daleng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Kjønstad BF from getting a goal against them. Fabiano Parisi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Kjønstad BF's Daniel Daleng got control of the ball when Nik Tjæder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Daleng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Cicchinelli in the 90th minute of the match. If Karsten Thorkildsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Atletico San Jacopino could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kjønstad BF throughout the match.
