Cássio Melo made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Cory Kirkland sent off a good shot on target. Segundo Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Pereira in the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Domenico Welch got a free kick in the 18th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of New England Minas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 100 Chance:s goal. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for 100 Chance. Ian Silva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Segundo Gol. 1-1. Segundo Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Wesley Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 100 Chance fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 100 Chance were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after New England Minas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ian Silva took the corner. 100 Chance's Ian Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Segundo Gol in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Mario Hayes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ian Silva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Segundo Gol. New England Minas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Wiliam Martins notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of New England Minas's Segundo Gol. Segundo Gol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The supporters of 100 Chance booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shayne Hess didn't get a good kick on the ball. New England Minas's Segundo Gol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. 100 Chance walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
