Andy Schmid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Håkan Söderberg made a huge save. In the 10th minute of the match Espen Steelers got a corner. Lost Boys Sports Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andy Schmid ran over to the corner to take the kick. Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Håkan Söderberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 10th minute, Gaetano Rothstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Alfons Fogel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lost Boys Sports Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espen Steelers the free kick. Alfons Fogel kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Lost Boys Sports Academy booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurenzo Wagner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikola Portner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Åke Sjö in the 17th minute of play. Lost Boys Sports Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfons Fogel in the 18th minute. Laurenzo Wagner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Söderberg having to interfere. Håkan Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Schmid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Ioneasa kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The corner ended in Alfons Fogel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Espen Steelers's Nikola Portner did a great save. Andy Schmid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Andy Schmid took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Söderberg. Håkan Söderberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Åke Sjö was the one to do the kick off. Espen Steelers's Nikola Portner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Sjö in the 53rd minute of play. Alex Ioneasa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Sten Stolpe hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Herbert Lång's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Nikola Portner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 65 minutes into the match, Andy Schmid had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Håkan Söderberg. Lost Boys Sports Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andy Schmid was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Laurenzo Wagner charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laurenzo Wagner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Laurenzo Wagner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lost Boys Sports Academy booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurenzo Wagner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Schär sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Alfons Fogel got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Alfons Fogel off the ground. Alfons Fogel hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Espen Steelers's Laurenzo Wagner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Håkan Söderberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Andy Schmid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Håkan Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Schmid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Espen Steelers's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sten Stolpe 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. Espen Steelers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
