Spectators: 7666 (Terracing: 5751, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Delfim Cordobé started the match with the kick off. In the 6th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Massa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Club El Progreso getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Bruno Maxin hit a great ball. Club El Progreso's Rolando Berenguer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Club El Progreso from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Enzo Concha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xande Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club El Progreso's Rolando Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Favoretto in the 24th minute of play. Delfim Cordobé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Xande Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club El Progreso's zone, Xandinho Kane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Berenguer came out of the goal and Xandinho Kane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Xandinho Kane managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Joinville - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Xandinho Kane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Berenguer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 정 만 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomás Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Berenguer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas De la Cruz's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After 57 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Britto. Xande Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Concha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Berenguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas De la Cruz in the 66th minute of the match. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Cícero Lago was substituted for Bruno de Senna. In the 69th minute New Joinville - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Hugo Favoretto went to the cornerflag to take it. Xande Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Cordobé in the 70th minute of the match. Armando Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Concha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Xande Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Berenguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Favoretto in the 94th minute of play.
