A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Șerban Ionescu hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Davidescu in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gogo Firmin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esteve Hondo charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteve Hondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Valar's Iosif Bordeianu was substituted for Iordache Donici. Gogo Firmin made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Andrei Davidescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute of the match The Valar got a corner. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rareș Ţeica ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on The Valar's corner Ştefan Moculescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gogo Firmin quite easily take care of the ball. In the 31st minute Andrei Davidescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Firmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Firmin made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ion Otopeanu sent off a good shot on target. When Ion Otopeanu came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the The Valar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ion Otopeanu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, The Valar's Ştefan Moculescu got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Sebastian Eguen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Firmin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Șerban Ionescu in the 40th minute. Esteve Hondo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Gogo Firmin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rareș Ţeica. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Tano made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, The Valar's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Gar came free, but Iosif Vladimirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Tano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Iosif Vladimirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ defense, Iosif Bordeianu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gogo Firmin. The Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gogo Firmin should have stopped the shot. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Gogo Firmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Moculescu in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Davidescu in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
