Fernandão Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Baldaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With his leg Alexandrino Amado managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Castanheiro SC's Cristian Salles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anselmo Baldaia scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandão Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Terceirense F.C.'s Viriato Semedo got a free kick in the 17th minute. José Maria Quadros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandrino Amado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Alexandrino Amado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Salles got free with Alexandrino Amado in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Salles succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 24th playminute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeferson Mandrak during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Terceirense F.C. booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandão Penha came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Terceirense F.C.'s Anselmo Baldaia. But to his dismay, Anselmo Baldaia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Anselmo Baldaia notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Castanheiro SC's Fernandão Penha. Fernandão Penha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the game, Terceirense F.C.'s Anselmo Baldaia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernandão Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Baldaia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Carlos Mafra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandrino Amado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeferson Mandrak in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandrino Amado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 minutes, Jeferson Mandrak made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Terceirense F.C.'s Alexandrino Amado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Manuel Belém replaced Aldo Anjos. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Túlio Aparecido with Dino das Neves as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 67 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Mafra. In the 69th minute of the game Manuel Belém made a throw-in which Viriato Semedo played forward. Fernandão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Távora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandrino Amado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeferson Mandrak's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Terceirense F.C.'s Gabriel Távora got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Olívio Gouveia replaced Mário Gameiro. Fernandão Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Távora in the 86th minute of play. Túlio Aparecido made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Terceirense F.C.'s Viriato Semedo. 91 minutes into the game, Túlio Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castanheiro SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terceirense F.C. the free kick. Terceirense F.C.'s Alexandrino Amado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Mandrak in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Terceirense F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
