Fabio Santilli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amund Villarreal in the 40th minute of play. KIA KAHA's Björn Ahlberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edijs Blamiņš in the 45 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dawang Monfort during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Dawang Monfort hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Spartak de Txurdi's Justin Abril got control of the ball when Sataporn Snabl tried to sneak it across the goal line.
