Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Bror Håkansson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Hultstrand in the 5th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Jesse Angell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Jack Phillips hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Alfons Gallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Angell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesse Angell came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Dexiators's Alfons Gallin. But to his dismay, Alfons Gallin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edison Mcjunkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Bergren having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Fritz Aleberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Angell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boroondara Milan's Jesse Angell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Hultstrand in the 23rd minute of play. Jesse Angell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Gallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boroondara Milan's attentive Alvin Beaverley managed to snatch the ball when Rasmus Löfgren made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. After 31 played minutes Dexiators got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Löfgren. After a rather tough play, Boroondara Milan's Alvin Beaverley got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Fritz Aleberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesse Angell. Boroondara Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fritz Aleberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 37th minute, Fritz Aleberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Alfons Gallin put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jesse Angell. After 41 minutes of play, Dexiators's Alfons Gallin made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesse Angell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jesse Angell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Gallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bud Ludwick hit a great ball. After the first half Dexiators were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bud Ludwick made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Dexiators's Alfons Gallin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesse Angell. Jesse Angell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Boroondara Milan's Jesse Angell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Boroondara Milan from getting a goal against them. Jesse Angell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Hultstrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesse Angell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Gallin in the 60th minute of the match. Fritz Aleberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jesse Angell came out and tried to block the shot, but Fritz Aleberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 62nd minute. Dexiators's Robert Bergren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bud Ludwick in the 67th minute of play. Boroondara Milan's Jesse Angell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Hultstrand in the 70th minute of play. Bror Håkansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jesse Angell made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Bud Ludwick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boroondara Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Bror Håkansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Jesse Angell made a huge save. Jesse Angell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Holmgren in the 88th minute of the match. Jesse Angell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Ove Holmgren in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfons Gallin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jesse Angell. That made the score 2-8 in the 92 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Dexiators left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boroondara Milan.
