The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brian Soria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Cisek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Kornecki came free, but Brian Soria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Étienne Lebret ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Gongolewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Brian Soria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Wysocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Bernal struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Mariusz Gongolewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formation Pure Lyonnaise. Witomir Mierzejewski hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeusz Zagrodny in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brian Soria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brian Soria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Kornecki in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Tadeusz Zagrodny left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Queens of Lublin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, Tadeusz Zagrodny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brian Soria. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeusz Zagrodny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeusz Zagrodny stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Wysocki in the 53rd minute of play forced Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Brian Soria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Tadeusz Zagrodny dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Brian Soria, 1-3. 59 minutes into the game, Hieronim Mietus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Queens of Lublin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formation Pure Lyonnaise the free kick. After a rather tough play, Queens of Lublin's Hieronim Mietus got a free kick in the 59th minute. Mariusz Gongolewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davy Giacomoni in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Davy Giacomoni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queens of Lublin the free kick. The supporters of Queens of Lublin booed when Formation Pure Lyonnaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davy Giacomoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Étienne Lebret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Witomir Mierzejewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brian Soria. Witomir Mierzejewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Szymon Kornecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Robert Wysocki suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tanguy Kempf during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Queens of Lublin made a substitution. Szczepan Marek replaced Robert Wysocki. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Tadeusz Zagrodny sped through Formation Pure Lyonnaise's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brian Soria. Brian Soria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szymon Kornecki in the 83rd minute. In the 84th match minute, Queens of Lublin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kryspin Sienkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match Isaac Bernal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariusz Gongolewicz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tadeusz Zagrodny kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Brian Soria. That made the score 1-6 in the 88 minute of play. Queens of Lublin's Mariusz Gongolewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Étienne Lebret in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Brian Soria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szymon Kornecki. The Queens of Lublin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Queens of Lublin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
