Spectators: 7635 (Terracing: 5727, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcos Dubardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Dubardo during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 2 played minutes Tetra Pack FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Dubardo. Lorenzo Hunfredo was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Filipe Quinaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filipe Quinaz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 17th minute, José Ventura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eurico Figueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Dubardo in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Tetra Pack FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aparício Taborda came free, but Lorenzo Hunfredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Hunfredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aparício Taborda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Duardo's late challenge caught a Gremio Viana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Duardo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when Tetra Pack FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Duardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Porfirio Bomba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gremio Viana's supporters rose to their feet, but Porfirio Bomba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Hunfredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gremio Viana's Adelino Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filipe Quinaz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lorenzo Hunfredo came out and tried to block the shot, but Filipe Quinaz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Tetra Pack FC's Marcos Dubardo got a free kick in the 39th minute. Gremio Viana's Eurico Figueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Batista in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Adelino Lopes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gremio Viana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 played minutes Tetra Pack FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Mateus. Porfirio Bomba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lorenzo Hunfredo. Tetra Pack FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 55th minute, Nereo Gaur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Tetra Pack FC defense, Adelino Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Hunfredo. The Tetra Pack FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Hunfredo should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute Filipe Quinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Hunfredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Gremio Viana's Filipe Quinaz made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Hunfredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 73 minutes of play, Gremio Viana's Adelino Lopes made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adelino Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lorenzo Hunfredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eurico Figueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Dubardo in the 87th minute. Lorenzo Hunfredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Quinaz in the 89th minute of the match. Lorenzo Hunfredo came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Gremio Viana's Filipe Quinaz. But to his dismay, Filipe Quinaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Marcos Dubardo took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eurico Figueira. Eurico Figueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gremio Viana fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tetra Pack FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
