Roque Reuter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Alfred Junitz fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STARGARD FC's protests and gave Alfred Junitz a yellow card for diving instead. When Quebracho FC's Melchor Celipe in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Quebracho FC's Damian Dodorol got control of the ball when Rigo Stossun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind STARGARD FC's goalkeeper Roque Reuter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Quebracho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gernot Sell came free, but Damian Dodorol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Rigo Stossun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Dodorol having to interfere. In the 57th minute Melchor Celipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Reuter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quebracho FC's Melchor Celipe got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roque Reuter was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Melchor Celipe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Melchor Celipe really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Quebracho FC were furious when Humberto Quintin was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quebracho FC! Quebracho FC:s Damian Dodorol showed great skill when he stopped Bruno Wiederhold:s penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Chuse got free with Roque Reuter in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Quebracho FC defense, Gernot Sell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Dodorol. The Quebracho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Dodorol should have stopped the shot. Cleto Gonsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. STARGARD FC's Roque Reuter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save STARGARD FC from getting a goal against them. Damian Dodorol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernot Sell, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Quebracho FC's Damian Dodorol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Wiederhold in the 92nd minute of play. Jacinto Chuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hardi Girrbach during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Quebracho FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quebracho FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
