Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alek Uyttebroeck made the kick off which started today's match. The Wolfpack™'s Nicolaas De Fever quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ludomir Fabiszak, made in the 7th minute of the game. Michal Czarnecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alek Uyttebroeck in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to The Wolfpack™ getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Lucien Denijs hit a great ball. Cyryl Wielowiejski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Markowy Team's Gilbert Miecznikowski got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 21 minutes, Klement Lipinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Markowy Team and the The Wolfpack™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Markowy Team getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Klement Lipinski hit a great ball. Lucien Denijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Alek Uyttebroeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Czarnecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes The Wolfpack™ got a freekick which was hit by Kristen de Cijser. When Alek Uyttebroeck came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the The Wolfpack™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alek Uyttebroeck couldn't finish the play. After 35 played minutes Markowy Team got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Falkiewicz. 38 minutes into the match, The Wolfpack™'s Kristen de Cijser broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Geoffrey Goolen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Yvan Van Impe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michal Czarnecki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alek Uyttebroeck's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
If Yvan Van Impe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Yvan Van Impe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 68 played minutes The Wolfpack™ got a freekick which was hit by Lucien Denijs. The Wolfpack™'s Roy Schockaert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Lipinski in the 69th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ludomir Fabiszak in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Wolfpack™'s Nicolaas De Fever. Yvan Van Impe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michal Czarnecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alek Uyttebroeck in the 76th minute of the match. Michel Wigghers charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Wigghers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michel Wigghers hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, Markowy Team's Cyryl Wielowiejski made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roy Schockaert was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, Alek Uyttebroeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
