Mauricio Mel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Donato Isusko fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores de Mar de Ajó's protests and gave Donato Isusko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Donato Isusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Benedicto Iago managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when New England Minas's Diogo Yurin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 9th minute, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Parker Nance fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Angel Kelemen kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Benedicto Iago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Parker Nance in the 24th minute. Celedonio Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Wilbur Farrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Benedicto Iago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Middleton. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Siro Eutropio was the one to do the kick off. Siro Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbur Farrell having to interfere. Wilbur Farrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Selmo in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute Sem Terra collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Siro Eutropio charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siro Eutropio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. New England Minas's Miles Newsome was substituted for Sem Terra. In the 59th match minute, Defensores de Mar de Ajó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Eutropio to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Edgard Hustaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maria Ricota kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Wilbur Farrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Henry in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Middleton in the 95th minute of play forced Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Benedicto Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New England Minas were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
