Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Allan Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Helge Ståhlman in the 6th minute. When Laércio Castro came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Palmeiras - Tia Leila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laércio Castro couldn't finish the play. In the 8th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Wenerdahl to maneuver through the defense. Laércio Castro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Helge Ståhlman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ghost Hunters's supporters rose to their feet, but Helge Ståhlman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Palmeiras - Tia Leila's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Borglin came free, but Allan Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Arne Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Gerber in the 31st minute of play. Laércio Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Stig-Arne Biörnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cleiton Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Cleiton Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleiton Gerber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Allan Queirós came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Ghost Hunters's Mattias Borglin. But to his dismay, Mattias Borglin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ghost Hunters made a substitution. Vidar Deckberg replaced Nils-Emil Hedbom. Palmeiras - Tia Leila made a substitution. Geovânio de Carvalho replaced Marcinho Marinho. Laércio Castro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the Palmeiras - Tia Leila defense, Helge Ståhlman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Queirós. The Palmeiras - Tia Leila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Queirós should have stopped the shot. Stig-Arne Biörnberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Cordeiro in the 79th minute. If Laércio Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Kleen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laércio Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Biörnberg having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ghost Hunters were victorious despite being under pressure from Palmeiras - Tia Leila for much of the match.
