Käka Puck BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capivara FC the free kick. The supporters of Capivara FC booed when Käka Puck BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Odin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Erasmo Sena sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Käka Puck BK's Douglas Wassenius didn't even have to move. Erasmo Sena hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Kent Vallers short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got João Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Käka Puck BK booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Júnior Veloso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Käka Puck BK's Douglas Wassenius. Douglas Wassenius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th match minute, Capivara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Veloso to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Júnior Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Wassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Veloso in the 29th minute of play forced Käka Puck BK's goalkeeper Douglas Wassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Käka Puck BK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Kent Valler hit a great ball. With a little luck, Capivara FC's João Fernandez got control of the ball when Marcus Wester tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Kent Valler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Fernandez having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Júnior Veloso made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Kent Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. João Fernandez came out of the goal and Sture Lundqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Betão Pinheiro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Käka Puck BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júnior Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Capivara FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
