Spectators: 7843 (Terracing: 5884, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orlo Rujula started the match with the kick off. Emanuel Bañuelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Vizcaino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gartzea Morquera kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Pinto Valer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Demesio Verdeja. Nacional's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Tabernilla to maneuver through the defense. Zenon Señor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Astor Sobrido made a huge save. Astor Sobrido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordarrol Chamochin in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Berrondo to maneuver through the defense. Astor Sobrido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Obana, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Efren Cumbres. Ferdinand Cadimo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Pinto Valer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Demesio Verdeja. Nacional's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Saturnino Vizcaino hit a great ball. Astor Sobrido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Obana, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Nuno Berrondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CERRO PORTEÑO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional the free kick. Nuno Berrondo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Biñuela to maneuver through the defense. Pinto Valer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 minutes, Emanuel Bañuelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional and the CERRO PORTEÑO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Demesio Verdeja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlo Rujula in the 67th minute. A collision led to CERRO PORTEÑO getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nando Cando hit a great ball. 1-0 became the score in the 77th minute when Marcelo Obana elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nando Cando's late challenge caught a Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nando Cando helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Nando Cando got a free kick in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Marcelo Obana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Sobrido. CERRO PORTEÑO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Obana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Astor Sobrido came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Marcelo Obana. But to his dismay, Marcelo Obana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Nacional walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
