One of Futbol Club RRFV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BK Gubbhöft:s goal. With a little luck, Futbol Club RRFV's Jacinto Neto got control of the ball when Adam Bergqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th match minute, BK Gubbhöft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zebastian Klemensson to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, Marcelo Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futbol Club RRFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Gubbhöft the free kick. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Marcelo Lopes hit a great ball. If Adam Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Dracena in the 38th minute of play forced BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Folke Hybbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Alberto de Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Carlos Alberto de Sousa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Folke Hybbert. The goal made the score 2-1. After some careless play in the BK Gubbhöft defense, Carlos Alberto de Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Hybbert. The BK Gubbhöft fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Hybbert should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Adam Bergqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Gubbhöft's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Bergqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Lopes. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when BK Gubbhöft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Ekström in the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Zé Rocha hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Futbol Club RRFV's Folke Hybbert threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Alberto de Sousa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Folke Hybbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Dracena in the 88th minute of the match. Jacinto Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Bergqvist in the 90th minute of play. Ulf Andreasson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
