The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christopher Schopp kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Aire Mas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los kyes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aire Mas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Isidor Zubizarreta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los kyes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Los kyes getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. FC Hollywood's Herbert Schröder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Carrasco in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Hoffmann made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Hollywood's Sascha Rothschild got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Hoffmann in the 58th minute of play forced Los kyes's goalkeeper Misael Sans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aire Mas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Herbert Schröder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Carrasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Los kyes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
