Spectators: 7716 (Terracing: 5788, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mateus Quaresma kicked off to start the match. With his leg Rodrigo Amaro managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Vännäsby BF's Jan-Olof Backlund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Jan-Olof Backlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Amaro was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Thor Frykberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Amaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Olof Backlund went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 13 minutes, Mateus Quaresma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponte do Carro and the Vännäsby BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thor Frykberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Lucena in the 17th minute of play. Rodrigo Amaro stood somewhat misplaced when Jan-Olof Backlund came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. It was a well-played corner which Michael Josefsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rodrigo Amaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Olof Backlund's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Jan-Olof Backlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponte do Carro's Rodrigo Amaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Quaresma came free, but Thor Frykberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ponte do Carro's Rodrigo Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Backlund in the 36th minute of play. Thor Frykberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Michael Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Nuno Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Vännäsby BF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Viktor Olsson hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Olof Backlund made a kick off. Ponte do Carro's Rodrigo Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Backlund in the 52nd minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Josefsson came free, but Rodrigo Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Nordström in the 68th minute of play. Rodrigo Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Backlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Josefsson in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Amaro saved Ponte do Carro from getting behind. Diamantino Guimarães hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes, Sven Broberg made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ponte do Carro's Rodrigo Amaro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Sven Broberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rodrigo Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ponte do Carro's Rodrigo Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Backlund in the 84th minute of play. Jan-Olof Backlund took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Amaro. Rodrigo Amaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Nuno Sanches put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ponte do Carro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Vännäsby BF a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sven Broberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ponte do Carro's Rodrigo Amaro. 5-0. When Pål Siöberg fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vännäsby BF's protests and gave Pål Siöberg a yellow card for diving instead. Vännäsby BF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
