Thanks to some nice moves Arí Moreira could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Nildo Lara however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, America Futebol Clube SP's Narciso Ortiz got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in America Futebol Clube SP's zone, Arí Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nildo Lara came out of the goal and Arí Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Sampaio was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Valdomiro Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the P3DR4 N0 S4P4T0 F.C and the America Futebol Clube SP players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to P3DR4 N0 S4P4T0 F.C getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. P3DR4 N0 S4P4T0 F.C's José Pedro Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save P3DR4 N0 S4P4T0 F.C from getting a goal against them. The supporters of P3DR4 N0 S4P4T0 F.C booed when America Futebol Clube SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position.
