Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dom Billing ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, SuRpRiSe's Slawomir Banach got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Barry Lowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Augustyniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marty Hill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerzy Augustyniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Kyle Connor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Soroka in the 22nd minute of play. Kyle Connor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Soroka, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marty Hill in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerzy Augustyniak saved SuRpRiSe from getting behind. In the 47th minute Zenon Soroka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Connor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marty Hill to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes SuRpRiSe got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Wielowiejski. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Ash Bridgewater replaced Shawn Banks. SuRpRiSe's Teofil Wielowiejski got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Teofil Wielowiejski off the ground. In the 70th match minute, Heavenly Hooters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Hurst to maneuver through the defense. When Jeff Lincoln fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heavenly Hooters's protests and gave Jeff Lincoln a yellow card for diving instead. Jeff Lincoln hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Dawid Jaszyna came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the SuRpRiSe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Jaszyna couldn't finish the play. Barry Lowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marty Hill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marty Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Augustyniak having to interfere.
