Perivaldo Donato's late challenge caught a Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perivaldo Donato helped the player get up and apologised. Perivaldo Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Róbson Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Baptista came free, but Rômulo de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match, Nilson Paraibano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rômulo Souto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rômulo Souto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nilson Paraibano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Alcântara in the 27th minute of play forced MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper Rômulo Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Abraão. If Nilson Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiaguinho Luz was the one to do the kick off. Rômulo de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiaguinho Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Isaltino Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino Tande to maneuver through the defense. Rômulo de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Paraibano in the 66th minute of play. In the 81st minute Nilson Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match MUSHIBA FC got a corner. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan de Almeida ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Juan de Almeida got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rômulo de Almeida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rômulo Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rômulo de Almeida was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Luciano Baptista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luciano Baptista really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Rondinone F.C - FDFDF lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
