Spectators: 7640 (Terracing: 5731, Seating: 1757, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Saul Txordon took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's Benedicto Atarratze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Americo Herena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Americo Herena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 6th minute. Benedicto Atarratze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Americo Herena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Lorien came free, but Mitch Lauwers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, S. D. Águilas's Americo Herena got control of the ball when Benedicto Atarratze tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Selebi-Phikwe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Domingo Sidro was slow to take the kick. During this time S. D. Águilas's players had a chance to rest. The corner led S. D. Águilas's Domingo Sidro to fire away a dangerous shot which Mitch Lauwers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 18th minute, Domingo Sidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the S. D. Águilas defense, Benedicto Atarratze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Herena. The S. D. Águilas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Herena should have stopped the shot. Selebi-Phikwe's Mitch Lauwers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Magdaleno in the 27th minute of play. Americo Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abid Bubalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's Benedicto Atarratze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Americo Herena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabricio Magdaleno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitch Lauwers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 37 played minutes S. D. Águilas got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Sidro. In the 38th minute, Selebi-Phikwe's Benedicto Atarratze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Americo Herena. Americo Herena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Benedicto Atarratze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Americo Herena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

S. D. Águilas's José Sosa was substituted for Timoteo Isauro. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Atarratze to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Selebi-Phikwe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Van Buyten to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Atarratze took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Americo Herena. Americo Herena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Alvaro Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Benedicto Atarratze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Herena was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Honorato Gabirel hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the S. D. Águilas defense, Sebastian Quin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Herena. The S. D. Águilas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Herena should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute Cléberson Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Cléberson Neves made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. S. D. Águilas's Americo Herena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. José Sosa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléberson Neves in the 97th minute of play forced S. D. Águilas's goalkeeper Americo Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Selebi-Phikwe fans cheered their team off the field, for while S. D. Águilas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
