Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Mendonça in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tales Falcão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Ezequiel Mendonça put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tales Falcão. Joshua Barfield hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Brites in the 8th minute of play forced Squadra Sulista's goalkeeper Eloy Casagrande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca Juniors's Tales Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho do Vale in the 10th minute of play. Tales Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho do Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tales Falcão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho do Vale came free, but Tales Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Renato Carvalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tales Falcão. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho do Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tales Falcão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boca Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Renato Carvalho scored to the left of an out of position Tales Falcão, making the score, 5-1. In the 43rd minute, Ronaldinho do Vale made a precise shot to the right of Tales Falcão. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 47th minute, Squadra Sulista's Renato Carvalho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldinho do Vale made a kick off. When Boca Juniors's Marcos Gustau in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Boca Juniors's Tales Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Mendonça in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho do Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tales Falcão. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldinho do Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Gustau got free with Eloy Casagrande in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tales Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Squadra Sulista's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Gustau came free, but Eloy Casagrande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot was stopped by Eloy Casagrande but with some difficulty. After 86 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Duarte. In the 88th minute, Felippe Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Squadra Sulista fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. There was no doubt that Squadra Sulista were the better team. Squadra Sulista's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
