In the 12th minute, Eriberto Truylos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cícero Palmeira came out of the goal and Flavio Tanio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes of play, Emeryt Sosnowiec's Zdzislaw Kręcina made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartolo Idacio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Eriberto Truylos made a precise shot to the right of Cícero Palmeira. Emeryt Sosnowiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Eriberto Truyloss short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Cícero Palmeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bartolo Idacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Krzynowek in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Bartolo Idacio made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Radja Poerwonegoro sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Bartolo Idacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zdzislaw Kręcina. After 73 minutes Independiente's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Szymon Lipa who took care of the corner kick. Eriberto Truylos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The Independiente supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Emeryt Sosnowiec's performance. The match ended with a win for Emeryt Sosnowiec.
