Jimeno Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Fafinski having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Jimeno Feliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barça Salvadoreño FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 28th match minute, Barça Salvadoreño FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rex Welsh to maneuver through the defense. AKS Chorzów's Iwan Fafinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odir Bautista in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Jimeno Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Fafinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Di Hai came free, but Iwan Fafinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes, Tadeusz Siembab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKS Chorzów and the Barça Salvadoreño FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the AKS Chorzów defense, Wang Di Hai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Fafinski. The AKS Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Fafinski should have stopped the shot. After the first half Barça Salvadoreño FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the game, Wang Di Hai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iwan Fafinski. Wang Di Hai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Aureliusz Majkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliusz Majkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Rudi Bremke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Fafinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Feliz in the 63rd minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Iwan Fafinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barça Salvadoreño FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fatbardh Malko in the 65th minute. Olaf Sokol hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 69th match minute, AKS Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Budzynski to maneuver through the defense. Iwan Fafinski made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Jimeno Feliz sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudi Bremke got free with Iwan Fafinski in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iwan Fafinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudi Bremke in the 77th minute. Paradorn Todor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Ranowiecki in the 80th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Barça Salvadoreño FC's Odir Bautista made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iwan Fafinski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 89 minutes, Herbert Okraszewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKS Chorzów and the Barça Salvadoreño FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iwan Fafinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wang Di Hai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match, Wang Di Hai tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iwan Fafinski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jimeno Feliz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iwan Fafinski came out and tried to block the shot, but Jimeno Feliz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 94th minute.
