The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Arne Åberg got free with Ekhemos Kezdoglou in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Chiru in the 17th minute of play forced Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Generoso Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Șeicaru kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, FC Acatar's goalkeeper Ekhemos Kezdoglou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ke Xun. Bengt-Arne Åberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a huge save. Pedro Ochoa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ekhemos Kezdoglou 24 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Acatar booed when Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ke Xun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Logofătu in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Gonzalez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Logofătu scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Generoso Gonzalez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Generoso Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Vornicu in the 36th minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Alin Chiru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Acatar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alin Chiru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Jokin to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Generoso Gonzalez got control of the ball when Alin Chiru tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, FC Acatar's Generoso Gonzalez threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicu Vornicu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 68th minute Bengt-Arne Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ekhemos Kezdoglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka. 85 minutes into the match, Felix Logofătu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Gonzalez. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Logofătu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Generoso Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Logofătu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC Acatar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
