Naike Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, River CBBA's Endura Abechuco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 20th minute David Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naike Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naike Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Martxelin in the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, River CBBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute David Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naike Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Luis Jiménez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Naike Abalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that David Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naike Abalos was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. River CBBA's Naike Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Jiménez in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Capo de Provincia got a corner. River CBBA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. César Pretot ran over to the corner to take the kick. César Pretot made a great header on Capo de Provincia's corner, it was just that River CBBA's Naike Abalos managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Guerau Abeitia got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Naike Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Villa in the 43rd minute of play. With a little luck, Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra got control of the ball when Endura Abechuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Funes to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Juan Funes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fritz Asmundsson lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. River CBBA made a substitution. Arano Abendano replaced Endura Abechuco. 57 minutes into the game, one of River CBBA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Capo de Provincia's Christiano Cabañas was substituted for Luis Jiménez. River CBBA made a substitution. Modesto Ado replaced Guerau Abeitia. After 74 played minutes River CBBA got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Ado. In the 75th match minute, River CBBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Ado to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Naike Abalos throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alejandro Martxelin in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Modesto Ado kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Deng Xing Sang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's César Pretot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naike Abalos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Modesto Ado got a free kick in the 89th minute. Alejandro Martxelin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Naike Abalos having to make a save. Naike Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Martxelin in the 91st minute of play. A very nice done corner allowed Carlo Valdivieso to score against Naike Abalos in River CBBA's goal. 2-3 after 96 minutes. The River CBBA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Capo de Provincia's performance. The match ended with a win for Capo de Provincia.
