Ludomil Walaszkiewicz made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Robert Siekierski. GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Juan Luis Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Zuraw in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC got a corner. GÓRNIK PSZÓW's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After a rather tough play, GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Ulryk Borowski got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute Damian Majewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastiano Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Roch Zuraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Luis Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludomil Walaszkiewicz made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alessandro Costacurta however managed to control. But to his dismay, Damian Majewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Damian Majewski made the kick off in the second half. Damian Majewski struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Sebastiano Rossi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GÓRNIK PSZÓW. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Majewski got free with Sebastiano Rossi in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's corner Alessandro Costacurta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Luis Carneiro quite easily take care of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, GÓRNIK PSZÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Kempka came free, but Juan Luis Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GÓRNIK PSZÓW's performance. The match ended with a win for GÓRNIK PSZÓW.
