An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Giusto in the 4th minute of play forced Altamora FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Pirès charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Pirès the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Robert Pirès hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Liher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Giusto, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Tiburcio Liher came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emiliano Giusto. But to his dismay, Emiliano Giusto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmy Ekström got free with Fabiano Violento in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24thth minute of the game Emiliano Giusto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altamora FC's Tiburcio Liher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Fabiano Violento got control of the ball when Jimmy Ekström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Emiliano Giusto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Altamora FC's Tiburcio Liher. Tiburcio Liher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximino Gizon kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tiburcio Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Giusto in the 33rd minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match, Jimmy Ekström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabiano Violento was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Giusto to make the kick off. Altamora FC made a substitution. Rodrigo Leão replaced Maximino Gizon. Old BaoBaB Accademy made a substitution. Horacio Oliverios replaced Ciro Panino. Emiliano Giusto came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tiburcio Liher could save by the left post. In the 69th minute of the match Old BaoBaB Accademy got a corner. Altamora FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Junior Junel ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 71st match minute, Altamora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Leão to maneuver through the defense. Fabiano Violento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimmy Ekström went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute of the match Altamora FC got a corner. Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brion Heyros ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 82nd minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emilio Buffone ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiburcio Liher. Tiburcio Liher yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Fabiano Violento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 93rd minute, Jimmy Ekström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Old BaoBaB Accademy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
