Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Zelg FC from getting a goal against them. When Serge Tomasini fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zelg FC's protests and gave Serge Tomasini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Zelg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serge Tomasini to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the game, Serge Tomasini threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rivermania FC's Rosendo Flor quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zelg FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
