José Carneiro started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Yang Wen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bartosz Trzenzalski, 1-0. 冯亦思 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Bartosz Trzenzalski made a huge save. José Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Carneiro in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rouven Nussli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jelle Knopper got free with Bartosz Trzenzalski in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, José Carneiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rouven Nussli. International Thunders's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Carneiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carneiro in the 21st minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Rouven Nussli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, José Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rouven Nussli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in International Thunders's zone, José Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rouven Nussli came out of the goal and José Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute Tibor Bäuschlein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Trzenzalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ema City's Bartosz Trzenzalski got control of the ball when Jelle Knopper tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Ema City's goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jelle Knopper. A collision led to Ema City getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Marek Mockiewicz hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Marek Mockiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Julien-Nils Freeh shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartosz Trzenzalski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The wind increased when Percival Costa made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ema City's goal looked a bit too open when Jelle Knopper came free, but Bartosz Trzenzalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Ema City's José Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rouven Nussli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 57 minutes into the match, Ema City's goal looked a bit too open when Yang Wen came free, but Bartosz Trzenzalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ema City's Bartosz Trzenzalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jelle Knopper in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Percival Costa in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartosz Trzenzalski saved Ema City from getting behind. Jelle Knopper scored 2-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartosz Trzenzalski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ema City getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Cezary Nalaskowski hit a great ball. Bartosz Trzenzalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yang Wen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute of the match, Selçuk Özgebay got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rouven Nussli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 78 minutes into the match, Ema City's José Carneiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rouven Nussli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Ema City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Rybak to maneuver through the defense. Rouven Nussli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carneiro in the 90th minute of play. Ema City's Bartosz Trzenzalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yang Wen in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ema City's Chen Yang Han got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jelle Knopper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The International Thunders supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ema City's performance. The match ended with a win for Ema City.
