Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Eliseo Cefero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. SITIO CITY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rubim Jordão in the 24th minute. It was a well-played corner which Alessandro Valente managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Falconara Albanese's Wawrzyniec Knopek managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pawel Czubski in the 28 minute of the game. Cristiano Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Pontes in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the SITIO CITY defense, Dráuzio Pontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristiano Lage. The SITIO CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristiano Lage should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Hami Öktüre in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SITIO CITY's Rubim Jordão. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráuzio Pontes was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, SITIO CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Libertad to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
