Cătălin Ostoici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Bâru in the 28th minute of play forced BuanaRaya's goalkeeper Cătălin Ostoici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Pablo Teran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Scarafia Ghost made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Pepijn Hummel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scarafia Ghost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scarafia Ghost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meng Quan Han, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, BuanaRaya's Emilian Onișoru seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emilian Onișoru the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BuanaRaya protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emilian Onișoru had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Go Ahead Eagles a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustin Bâru made a kick off. Cătălin Ostoici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Meng Quan Han kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Cătălin Ostoici stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustin Bâru's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ayi Kusumah in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Scarafia Ghost prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BuanaRaya's Cătălin Ostoici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Kontodimos in the 89th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Go Ahead Eagles walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
