Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Bermudo in the 8th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Enzo Bermudo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremy Nicholas was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After having played for 10 minutes, Enzo Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Bermudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tony Pacheco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eulalio Bastian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhu Bin Kun, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Atilano Urtats's late challenge caught a New England Minas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Urtats helped the player get up and apologised. Atilano Urtats kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Pacheco. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Ye Gang Cheng with Oscar Nordmark as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Eulalio Bastian was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tony Pacheco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Pacheco. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhu Bin Kun, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Ye Gang Cheng with Oscar Nordmark as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With an all-out effort, New England Minas's Eulalio Bastian threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tio Lio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian got control of the ball when Tony Pacheco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as New England Minas's Tony Pacheco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eulalio Bastian. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. When Enzo Bermudo came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Deportivo Mandiyu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Bermudo couldn't finish the play. After 43 played minutes Deportivo Mandiyu got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Urtats. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Atilano Urtats hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhu Bin Kun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Deportivo Mandiyu defense, Tony Pacheco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Bastian. The Deportivo Mandiyu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Bastian should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Deportivo Mandiyu booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alperen Öksüz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Mikelar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Deportivo Mandiyu defense, Tony Pacheco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Bastian. The Deportivo Mandiyu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Bastian should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Tony Pacheco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas got control of the ball when Roberto Cherro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tony Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Edgardo Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Bastian was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 96 minutes into the match, Edgardo Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eulalio Bastian. Deportivo Mandiyu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. New England Minas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
