DIF LEEDS BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Erechim - FSCMZ the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ingvar Nordkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Nordkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prosper Pike recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingvar Nordkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Juan Azevedo made a huge save. Aaron Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Santos in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Holger Lidström made a precise shot to the right of Juan Azevedo. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of Nova Erechim - FSCMZ booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prosper Pike didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Holger Lidström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Juan Azevedo came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by DIF LEEDS BK's Holger Lidström. But to his dismay, Holger Lidström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 56th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Nordkvist to maneuver through the defense. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ made a substitution. Murillo Chaves replaced Hílton Guedes. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Erik Mattos was substituted for Zé Roberto Cearense. Ingvar Nordkvist hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Aaron Bergqvist acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Murillo Chaves. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Nova Erechim - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafinha Trigo in the 84th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Rafinha Trigo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aaron Bergqvist. That made the score 3-1 after 87 minutes of play. In the 91st minute Ingvar Nordkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nova Erechim - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Sandro Meirelles hit a great ball. DIF LEEDS BK's Hans Kellbom was substituted for Niclas Österberg. In the 97th match minute, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nova Erechim - FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DIF LEEDS BK.
