Trenton Call was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leopoldo Luque showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. When Ari Holcomb fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Knights FC's protests and gave Ari Holcomb a yellow card for diving instead. Ari Holcomb hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Trenton Call made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ignacio Scocco sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the River CBBA defense, Brendan Otto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Barovero. The River CBBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Barovero should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Luque came free, but Trenton Call reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brendan Otto took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ignacio Scocco hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Cabrera in the 29th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, River CBBA's Khairul Swee dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 42nd minute, Hatta Baso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markus Montano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo Barovero. River CBBA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khairul Swee in the 47th minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Trenton Call to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Khairul Swee came free, but Trenton Call reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Markus Montano charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markus Montano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Black Knights FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Markus Montano hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Ignacio Scocco made a precise shot to the right of Trenton Call. Black Knights FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 56 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kareem Arredondo. River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendan Otto in the 57th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Otto, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Trenton Call took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Luque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trenton Call came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by River CBBA's Ignacio Scocco. But to his dismay, Ignacio Scocco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Otto, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Markus Montano hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. River CBBA's Marco Ruben was substituted for Leopoldo Luque. River CBBA made a substitution. He Yi replaced Khairul Swee. In the 74th minute Brendan Otto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. River CBBA's Artur Abechuco was substituted for Fabian Ayala. River CBBA's Venancio Che managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marco Sheldon in the 79 minute of the game. Trenton Call made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ruben in the 80th minute of play. Trenton Call showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Ruben in the 86th minute of the match. After 89th play minutes Marco Ruben shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Trenton Call and just under the crossbar into goal. After 92 played minutes Black Knights FC got a freekick which was hit by Stewart Cruz. In the 95th minute Brendan Otto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Black Knights FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for River CBBA.
