Genzo Wakabayashi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Corredor in the 12th minute of the match. MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofilo Goitia kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Golo Oolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genzo Wakabayashi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Corredor went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when VILLARREAL UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miro Titos didn't get a good kick on the ball. MILLONARIOS FC were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after VILLARREAL UNITED's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruud van Nistelrooij took the corner. The corner ended in Ruud van Nistelrooij almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VILLARREAL UNITED's Genzo Wakabayashi did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Golo Oolo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Corredor might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genzo Wakabayashi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Corredor ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Corredor came free, but Genzo Wakabayashi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Juan Corredor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genzo Wakabayashi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VILLARREAL UNITED's Genzo Wakabayashi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save VILLARREAL UNITED from getting a goal against them. After 90 minutes of play, MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genzo Wakabayashi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miro Titos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Videl Mauriz. MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cresitobalo Molina hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
