After 7 minutes of play, Ex Inferis's Aquilino Derwin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute Aquilino Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Elvio Tanio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Silverio Domingues did a great save. When Mónico Geller came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mónico Geller couldn't finish the play. Casimiro Ignatius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Gilen in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Mónico Geller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Ignatius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ex Inferis's Casimiro Ignatius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mónico Geller in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aquilino Derwin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Domingues was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Casimiro Ignatius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Gilen, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Aquilino Derwin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silverio Domingues. Aquilino Derwin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Celedonio Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Casimiro Ignatius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mónico Geller in the 40th minute of the match. Silverio Domingues had great luck who in the 41stth minute grab hold of the ball when Aquilino Derwin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 44 played minutes Ex Inferis got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Tanio. Ex Inferis's Casimiro Ignatius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mónico Geller in the 45th minute of play. Silverio Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Ex Inferis's Fulgencio Beremundo was substituted for Nicanor Ramos. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mónico Geller to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Sjöberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ex Inferis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo de Sarandi the free kick. 58 minutes into the game, Aquilino Derwin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Silverio Domingues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Delmar Abar was substituted for Paolo Gilen. The Ex Inferis fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Ex Inferis's Celedonio Ponce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Ex Inferis getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Amadeo Gelmiro hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Acuña to maneuver through the defense. Ex Inferis's Aquilino Derwin got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ex Inferis booed when San Lorenzo de Sarandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Dabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ex Inferis fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Ex Inferis's Aquilino Derwin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leo Acuña got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casimiro Ignatius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Abar, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leo Acuña ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casimiro Ignatius. Casimiro Ignatius yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
