Konrad Chodzinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodriguinho Varela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match Kernsdorf SSA got a corner. Santos da Bahia Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lazaros Rota ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lazaros Rota got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rodriguinho Varela quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 8 minutes into the game, Szczepan Murdza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kernsdorf SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos da Bahia Fc the free kick. After 8 played minutes Kernsdorf SSA got a freekick which was hit by Szczepan Murdza. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos da Bahia Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lazaros Rota was slow to take the kick. During this time Kernsdorf SSA's players had a chance to rest. 13 minutes into the match, Santos da Bahia Fc's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Chodzinski. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos da Bahia Fc's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Varela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Konrad Chodzinski came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Kernsdorf SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konrad Chodzinski couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Kernsdorf SSA's Konrad Chodzinski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguinho Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Lazaros Rota almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santos da Bahia Fc's Rodriguinho Varela did a great save. Rodriguinho Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Bondel, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Santos da Bahia Fc's Luciano Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Homer Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Kaider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dito Paraíba in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszek Kaider saved Kernsdorf SSA from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariusz Bondel in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Luciano Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbyszek Kaider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dito Paraíba to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos da Bahia Fc's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Varela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Kernsdorf SSA were awarded a corner. Lazaros Rota went to the cornerflag to take it. Lazaros Rota made a great header on Kernsdorf SSA's corner, it was just that Santos da Bahia Fc's Rodriguinho Varela managed to reach the ball for a save. 57 minutes into the game, Konrad Chodzinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rodriguinho Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kernsdorf SSA made a substitution. Konstanty Ratulowski replaced Mihály Mracskó. Zbyszek Kaider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homer Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Tadeusz Siekierka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguinho Varela was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeusz Siekierka in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Varela saved Santos da Bahia Fc from getting behind. In the 70th minute Tadeusz Siekierka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwidon Cieslak kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Zbyszek Kaider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wesley Cearense in the 78th minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Tadeusz Siekierka put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rodriguinho Varela. Tadeusz Siekierka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeusz Siekierka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodriguinho Varela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes Santos da Bahia Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lazaros Rota who took care of the corner kick. Zachary Tuliszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rodriguinho Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kernsdorf SSA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
